Sometimes in life things seem to be just perfect. While traveling home west bound on I-24 approaching the Mont Eagle rest stop I noticed two Eagles entering the road in front of me and two more waiting to enter. I ended up in the rocking chair being escorted by Eagles from the top of Mont Eagle for the next 100 miles. Yes we had left the Rally at differant times but faith had brought us back together at this point in time...  The unexplainable things in life are the best!.. Bus related or not it is a direct result of my involvement with this community.  Thanks for that life experience!!   Bob

Too bad I was going South. I would have loved to have seen that.

It was nice meeting you, Bob.

Bob, Nice having you with us ( the Wards, The Piggs, the Killingsworths and Lin and I ). Wish you could have stayed with us longer. We got home on Thursday after driving in more rain. We left our trailer in Springfield with some new parts for the 15. I did not want to drag it all the way to Chattanooga. Got everything cleaned up. I will start on all the yearly maintenance things and get ready to go to Quartzsite.

When you consider the complexities of time and space, that 60 mph equates to a mile per minute, the odds four Bus conversions would merge onto the freeway meeting another Bus conversion, at the same place and time, are astronomical. 15 seconds either way and you would have likely missed completely.

You are right, Bob. That would have been great.

We almost had the same opportunity on I-70 out in western Kansas. We were rolling along, and saw Wayne and a couple of his buddies. I would have enjoyed hooking up for a while, but we were hammered down trying to get home. Fuel economy was flying, as we rolled by their purty coaches! Seriously, those guys have some beauties for buses.

Pretty neat. Too bad you didn't hang with them longer.
