Transmission Oil Again

I thought this was interesting and would pass it on.  I was speaking to an Allison tech.  He said that they recommend the Transynd oil for all of there transmissions.  However, he said that the military uses C-4 motor oil.  He claimed that this was so they only had to have one oil for both engine and transmission.
