8V92 Detroit diesel engine. Quad turbocharger/two stage setup, modified blower, upgraded valve train, water injection setup, ceramic coated pistons, exhaust manifolds, and turbo housings. "300" injectors, sfi approved steel flywheel setup for crower clutch. Currently setup to run as a dryblock/head engine, could easily be changed back to run water. This engine will make 100psi of boost and turn 4500rpm. Original setup from norm larson's Ground Wolf truck. Engine has about 5 runs on a complete overhaul.

5 runs, that's about 1.5 minutes of power-on running, so it will be due for a rebuild in another 1.5 minutes...  

Also no overheating problems with a dry block, also no water so no radiators needed...

Edit:  don't pulling tractors average about 100 yards a pull?  So it's a 1,000 yard engine!  

disclaimer:  I have absolutely no idea how many pulls an engine like that could make, I pulled 10 pulls out of my butt...

  Thats like asking how many licks to the center of a tootsie pop. One crunch and your there. I knew a guy ran a alcohol funny, he threw out all these figures, crank good for 10  runs, heads good for 15 runs, etc.. Grenade the block and the whole works could bite the dust.

Wondering right now if the mill was dissassembled, how many of the internal parts would be good to go for a standard DD rebuild?  Would the seller just let you buy what stuff was re-usable?  If not....sounds kinda expensive for a used-abused mill.  HB of CJ (old coot)
