It is hard to cut and paste from a PDF but this is what I was sent from Cheveron. The dates on these Documents are from 1/1/2011.

I changed my oil last night with the Delo 100 40w. $14.99 a gallon and wix filter $30.99. I bought 8 gallons for 1 spare. O'reilly auto parts orderd it for me next day. Now they said they will always carry it in their store. Item # for oil 100-40-1. Oil filter item # is 51970. The boxes the oil came in even had an inch of dust on them. Note the red on the documents. It says NOT to use the 400 even in the 40w.

Go back and read the specs for MTU engines says very plain on the Delo 400 bottle for DDC/ MTU 1 and 2 engines I keep 3 jugs 1 Delo 100 ,1 - 15/40 (not for use in the 1) and 1 straight 40 Delo 400 just for the guys to read
Plain and simple they cannot make a C rated oil with over 1% ash did you know some Delo 400 even comes with no ash that is what all the transit buses with CNG engines used  knock your lights out over this oil deal but most of it is BS.
I'll pour Delo 400 40W in a new rebuild in a heart beat lol and never look back
I bet you didn't find on their web where if the Delo 100 has set for a long period it needs to be remixed as it separates JMO but I think Delo is the worst you can use in a DD 2 stroke 100 or the 400 rates right up there with the Rotella with me

good luck

You have to register and it's best to order all you think you may need at one time. I've got a locker full in the garage.

Works for me. They can even do the cross reference on the site for you.

It must be nice to have a garage with a locker to store them. I have a plastic tub in the basement full of spare filters LOL (even have a couple of spares for the trans)  ;D Will
