I have done this job twice before doing it again yesterday for a third. The first time was on ours and I had the luxury of doing it while we were rediong our cockpit floor and dash already and even given that it took days.

There are 2 blowers and the one on the drivers side is almost impossible to get at the way the bus rolls out of the factory but then all the converters add another step and rise and incorporate a step well slide and build the dash out and make it impossible to get at short of dismantling the dash and taking out the forward floor. Most converters did not seem to care or maybe they were just ignorant. That is how the second project went, all that crap had to be pulled.

Yesterday I did that job in 3 hrs with a suggestion from another bus nut that worked wonderfully. I drilled the rivits on the front center stainless panel under the windshields. Did not even have to remove the top row of rivits that are in the paint scheme. Took the bottom and sides loose pulled the bottom out and up and held it up with tarp straps around the wipers and mirrors and that drivers blower that is almost impossible to see even after hours of disassembly from the inside is staring you in the face in less than an hour.

Entire job was reduced to 3 hr. Thank you Dalej next time I see you I gonna give you a big wet kiss right on the lips. :o
