The wife seems to think it's a really big deal, being number 40.  I told her I would rather just do taco tuesday at the local mexican joint, but she insisted on having a big gathering out in the desert.  I told her 40 is nothing special, heck I'm not even at the halfway mark yet.  Now 60, that'd be the big one.  I would be at the top of the hill starting my descent down the other side.  No offense to you older folks.  Just saying, 60 is half way there.
