84 eagle 10 need input

im new here i am looking at my first bus conversion it is a 1983 eagle 10 with 6v71 with auto looks really good but it smokes on cold start up it ran for about 10 minnuts and cleard almost up still smoked a little should this be normall and what should i look out for.

need to know color of smoke. How long has it been sitting? how easy did it start cold?

the smoke was white he said it was drove two weeks ago he had to hit the start button 3 times then started right up and sound smoth thanks

That will not be a 6v71 in the Eagle and a  83 or 84 model will be  6v92TA they do smoke a little on a cold start if when it warms up and dosen't blow blue or white smoke it should be ok may need a tune up or a new set of injectors give me the serial number on the bus and I can furnish you with some info on it
