4104 Air Bag Leak

If it ain't one thing it's three. I (knock on wood) haven't yet been plagued with any oil leaks to speak of on my Ol' Girl. Of course, there's the telltale drips from the weep tubes. I've heard one can stop that with a collection device though. They say when it isn't leaking it's time to worry. Of course, a serious crankshaft seal leak is another thing altogether. Rats!

I have been following your main seal leaks. Nothing to advise, unfortunately, but you're obviously in good hands along those lines with all the experienced gurus on this site! Man, what a treasure of information!

Regarding your air bag woes, does seem strange how they leak down in such an irregular fashion. That is a mystery - of which you will no doubt discover the cause of eventually. I fully believe that whatever troubles these venerable beasts of burden throw our way will likely be solved sooner-or-later. Ours is like a member of the family. It's a bit strange, but I love her like no other vehicle I've ever owned.

Red, eh? Well, it's very nice! The paint scheme is similar to our own, just red where ours is blue. I dig it!

Best of luck with your oil/air leaks. I know you will triumph eventually. I will keep you posted of any accomplishments with my airbag leaks.
