Hi all,
Have been sitting around thinking about my old bus and wondering where its been all its life. I know it had been setting in a back yard since 2005 until I bought it a few weeks ago. The last owner was in the tour bus business, before that I have no idea. Would any of you bus gurus have excess to any info on it. I looked at one chart that I found on here a while back and could not find the serial number match for it.
sn no 1M89CM8AOCPO37162 model MC-9 trim code AR crusader ll MFG by MCI in Pembina ND in June 1982.
Thanks,

Hi Clovis,

MC-9 serial number CP037162 delivered in July 1982 to Citizen Auto Stage Inc. of Tucson, Arizona as their fleet number 360.  I hope this helps!

Best regards - Steve

Thanks Steve
The bus was purchase in 2002 by a guy name Jim Carson who had started a small tour bus outfit called Coastal Travel out of Clio Al, he went out of business in 2005. I was told he had died others say he just disapeared and no oe new where he went.Last year a felow bought the property where mr Carson lived and inthe process also got the bus which had been sitting in the back yard since 2005. The new property owner applied for and got a clear title from the state of Ala as a abandon vehicle. I just wonder if the oringinal owener my have kept it 20 years, if so it may have only been use as a tour bus all the time. The bus is in excellant shape body wise and runs real well. Cranks excellant, transmission works great, she is smoking real bad and blowing oil out the exhaust. The hub says 71000 miles. I know the bus would have a lot more miles than that so it may have been change during a rebuild. I think the oil may come from a bad blower seals. It could have broken a ring. Who knows, hope to find out soon and get it road worthy.
Thanks again Steve
