Thanks Don! I called Randy at 661-391-0887 Both places (and everywhere else I have called) says they do not have used tires and that the truckers just are not trading in decent ones anymore because of the economy. Randy is quoting me about 240.00 to 265.00 per tire (not including the balancing and labor). He is unsure if I need 14 or 16 ply and so am I. So I told him I would ask here. He says he has 6 11R22.5 Firestone FS560 in stock and another Dayton type in stock and some other type of Firestone that would work, but we are unsure about the 14 or 16 ply.

Weigh your bus and see what your axle loads are like...that should tell you more.

FWIW,
I just got home from a 2600 mile trip on my recently installed (6) FS 560's. No problems and no noticable difference in ride, noise, tracking etc than with my 10 yo Michelin's (Flame Suit On)

That price is favorable, Mine are 11R 24.5's & I paid $311 each balancing, mounting, disposal fee w/o taxes. $333 with everything in.

Good Luck,

Experience is something you get Just after you needed it....
