The air cleaner canister is about 11" diameter by 26" long. Do you think a ECO filter that size would flow more air? I briefly looked at a site for them, and they show one about that size that flows 1400cfm at 8" restriction. Do I just go and find one to fit my canister, or am I looking for a bigger canister? Looks like I could fit a little bigger one in the space I have, with moving a coolant line and a couple other minor items. More air would sure clear up some of that black smoke when I put my foot into it.

JC, you do not need a housing the ECO system is a all in one unit  that filter you have now is a 900cfm and the V692 loves 1200 to 1400 I ran a 1550 on my 8v92 give the 92 series air and they will love you for it.

good luck

Luvrbus, thank you so much. I will look into the ECO filter. To think this bus has had this too small a filter for it since they put the 6V92 in it  17 years ago...!! I can imagine now how it is going to run with more air...

This board is great!
