This supercharger is attached to the engine that will be going into my 4106 sooner than later.

The engine from a 1981 transit that ran around NYC.  Nimco recycled the bus.  The engine has a replacement block, and it ran great when it came out.  I'm a little concerned about the condition of supercharger lobes, though.

Take a look at the seals on the lobes, they look scored.  Notice the L and R stamped into the lobes, would that indicate that the supercharger was rebuilt at some time?

Thanks for any feedback!

That far right vane in the picture concerns me as well that should be smoother than that. Does the blower freely turn?

Wait for Clifford or Don to chime in but my eye says since it's already out rebuild it.

Let us know what you decide...
