Allison ht 740 valve body help

I am looking for a blow up of the valve body on a 740, I'm looking to adjust the shifts and need to know the shift valve locations. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.     Gerry

did you try the Allison website? I know they have a lot of the manuals on there you can download.

You need foldout 20B and 21A what gear are you trying to change.
Look at your 3 digit number on the governor if it does not have a M in the digits the shift points are going to be hard to set right with out changing the governor

Thanks Luvrbus, I have to go under the bus to check the governor. The shift point I want to change is third to fourth. It shifts up at about 40 mph in a closed throttle situation. When I step on the throttle it atomatically shifts back to third. I would like to get it to not shift at least until 45 mph.
