I still enjoy his music, he recorded everything from gospel to bluegrass and all points in between, it would be hard to find another entertainer with such a broad fan base and even now 30 some years after his death still outselling many artists and according to one of the tour people, there are still massive reserves of his music that hasn't been set up for sale yet.  One thing that I still have questions on is the honda dream he has in his museum, it's a 305 dream and the plaque says a 1965 but it has the knob on the top of the fork tree, I believe that was a 1966 item, my 1965 doesn't have it and I bought mine new in 1965 and it has never been modified, however I have seen a couple of 1966 dreams that had the same setup.

Per the Flxible serial number list none of the above serial number coaches were sold to Elvis Presley new. ???
jlv :P
no, but one was sold to Glenn Miller Productions, who knows where it went, but there seems to be a VL100 that was at Graceland at one point - OTOH, Elvis was drafted in Mar 1958 and didn't get out until Mar 1960 so I doubt he was bus shopping in '59  :o  ;D

Elvis wouldn't have been bus shopping at any time -- that would have been done by his managers, who didn't stop managing him while he was in the Army, and knew that he was only gone for a few months, not the rest of his life..

Glenn Miller Productions is the "owner" of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, which is STILL on tour -- by bus.  Interestingly, they were using a Buffalo in 1983 (The Bus is Leaving! - Glenn Miller Orchestra), so it's likely that they bought the Flexi for their own use in 1958.
