I just got back last night from dropping off some folk at the Central Camionera in Tijuana for their bus back to Aguascalientes, and as I was walking through the bus station I saw an older Eagle departing on a presumably second-class service to somewhere.   I couldn't see who owned it, but it left from the Greyhound pull-in (!) and it definitely had a 2-stroke with a manual transmission.   It looked to be in decent condition, without too much exhaust smoke, so I hope its operator is giving it the care it deserves.

It's nice to see older buses still in revenue-earning service, albeit south of the border.   I wonder if there is a ready supply of Eagle-specific parts from Mexican sources?

Talking of older Mexican buses, a few days ago I saw an older Dina (the one that looks slightly like a Flxible from the front) driving through Montebello CA, with no markings or company name on it but with CA license plates.   It looked like it was converted, or at least not still in commercial service.   Does anyone here have this bus?

John, always happy to see older buses on the road
