We just went from Denver, Co to Portland, Or. The bus ran flawless and the Gen also. Get up this morning and started the Gen up. I heard it gain a couple of rpm, kinda like a load then no load change in the "exhaust note"...No electricity tho....
It is a BG12 Kabota with 10KW, I think. I don't know the brand of the Gen. It came from Wrico some 20 years ago. HELP, the wife can't make her coffee and it's getting bad...

This morning I was fooling around the Gen, just poking and feeling around. It's installed in a "hole" which prevents me from seeing much. I felt something on the top of the Gen head and I thought maybe a reset sort of thing. I pushed it and it "clicked" I fired it up and unpluged the "emergency" 200' shore power cord that our friends provided. It works again.... Sometimes it's the simple things. I think the rough chain chopped up ice we encountered in eastern Oregon must have "jiggled" the reset pin, or whatever it is.
Thanks everyone for your responses and phone calls.

P.S. I now have a small inverter so Sheila can have her coffee. "If Mama ain't happy nobodys happy"

Glad to hear everything worked out with a simple solution.  ;D Maybe next time you should run the west side of Oregon LOL. We don't have ice and snow over here, just lots of fresh water ;D
