MCI defroster blower motor needed

I need one, anyone have one?  it's the little motor that turns the squirrel cage fan inside the dash that is ducted to the defrost and drivers heat.  There are two of them, one of mine is kaput.  1980 MC 5C, probably the 8's and 9's and others are similar.

Thought I'd ask before I start phoning around on Monday!

Check to see if it still has brushes.  It may be a simple repair..

Ken, on your bay doors on the 5B do you have the spring loaded tube type struts?  I am looking for some.  Ed

hi ed, the bus is complete, so i would say yes, how many doyou need , and is there a left and right, i couldnt turn the bus down, the thing is structurally rusted, has a reman 671 and a 644 trans, paid 400.oo and drove it to my compound, ken

Hello Mccarlk    You are one lucky sonofagun,I know its just skill right .ha ha. But seriously, it does take a lot of skill and knowledge to know a good deal and be ready to jump on it. Congrats on your find. I keep hoping that I'll find a 5a for parts someday.  Have a good day, Glen
