I finished the installation of the new leveling valves and tag drain valves and I'm happy to say that after 20 hours we are still fully inflated and level.  Why do I say lucky?  I rolled the dice and did not go for a plated airbag system.  I only have surface rust on any of my steel, and my front airbags had NEVER come down.  So, I thought I'd roll the dice.

Strangely, my tag bags have lost their air.  I'll tear into that again later.  I had a leak in the passenger side air pressure regulator between the bottom brass nut and the body.  Of course, it sheared off as I tried to give it a tweak.  Luckily I had a spare!

Gee, guys, if you had real springs, you wouldn't have to worry about it. My bus stays right where I park it.   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Glenn, How much money did you get into parts for the leveling system? I have a 1982 mc9 and considered doing that. I have replaced most of the air bags, and don't lose much air. Thanks, Marc

Marc,
right now I don't have any money into a manual leveling system.  All of the parts in my other post came with the bus.  I am into repairing the original system about 200 for valves and levelers, and another chunk for new airbags.  I replaced all of mine in one weekend.  I hope that is the answer you were looking for.
