Suggestions for long term stay in Houston??

I thought I would ask the members here if anyone has any recommendations for long term stay in the Houston area. My office there is downtown (unfortunately) and I would like to be between downtown and the Bush airport on the northern side. I expect I should consider a mobile home park for a stay of 2-3 years. Does anyone have any suggestions?
