I have a MC5a with 8v71 and jakes,


I mentioned getting it done at the local bus guy and he quoted 12 hours. I read a post a few weeks ago suggesting it was a 5 hour job.

Thoughts?

I don't see what you are trying to get fixed.

If you can get south to Ponoka, ask the restaurant how to contact Francois Roy. He is the best detroit mechanic I have ever used.

I can't seem to locate the number. It's old anyway. He is well known in Ponoka though.

Thanks for the reply. I left a voice message for your guy Gumpy and have not had any luck tracking down Francios Roy yet - if you have any more information, that would be great.

I sent you a personal email with the contact info I have of the Ponoka AB mechanic. I hope it is still good as it is 5-6 years old.

I'm confident you can find him by simply asking around Ponoka. If you have trouble look up Rob Sweet. He's a welder in Ponoka and probably knows wher Francois is.
