Here is a picture (I hope)of the switch that turns the jake on when you pull you foot off the throttle.  What is the proper/best way for me to adjust this switch??  Is there a specific clearance between the switch and the plunger??  Switch works because I can activate the Jake Brake by pushing the plunger.

It gets adjusted the same as the buffer switch that it replaces. Look it up in the service manual or at www.jakebrake.com.

The switch pivots on the upper screw. Loosen the top slightly and then the bottom one. Move the switch in or out until the jake cuts off at the rpm you like then tighten. On mine it take the smallest adjustment to make a big difference, so you might have to mess with it several times to get it where you want it. I like mine to cut out around 1000 rpms.
