I don't know if it applies to Buses but MB  has excellent support for their older cars.  Apparently you can order bits for a 50s sedan and they will pull the plans and make it for you, for  crazy $$$$ of course.
On a side note MB has made some great stuff in their day (I don't believe it's their day any more, more their resting on their laurels day).  I was super impressed a few years ago to see fully independent rear suspension in a '50s sedan.  A RWD sedan not a sports car, with full independent suspension, very nice layout as well, clean and simple.
