Computer question for the board

This is off subject, but everytime I try to look at the post pictures of your bus here, it kicks me off and I have to shut down

and sign on again. Is this my computer or is there something else going on? Does anyone have this problem!

I know just enough about computers to get myself in trouble,but so far I have not had that problem. I do occasionally get a message that file is to large when trying to post photos. Jack

Just I/we understand what your problem is. I take it that when you click on the thread topic "POST YOUR BUS, INT, EXT,& FAMILY PICTURES HERE! « 1 2 ... 18 19 »" it shuts down the MAK Board site on your computer?

Is this correct?

Sorry that I didn't answer your question earlier, yes it shuts down when you click on the pictures and sometime it will say

not responding!

Steve,

Do you have any other problems with opening pictures?

Do you use Internet Exporer or FireFox?

Who is your internet server?

I'm no puter geek, just trying to help until someone who has more experience can really help.

At times when that happens to me I try to to open it at a different time of day, like early morning when the net isn't so clogged up which slows down everything.

I have AOL, it only happens when I'm on this site, and sometimes on the pictures when I go from say page 2-3 to 15 etc.

It is dialup? If it is, it's probably just too slow for you to load large files.

I dunno.

Steve,
Instead of using the AOL browser, minimize it once you get on line, then use IE or Firefox.. you'll have fewer problems on any site you go to.

Amen to what Dallas said. AOL is the pits and IE isn't much better.

Download Firefox for free and install it then make it your default browser with MAK as your home page!!
