Folks after a long wait, we finally got 227 moved to its new home! Thanks to Kyle, Tom, Newbeemc9 (sorry newbee I never did get your name!) and Bruces trucking! We moved her by Landoll some 280 miles. We blew one trailer tire, and lost a teardrop, but she's home now where I can get started working on her. Wish me luck and money!

Sorry to hear about the teardrop  :'( , they looked fine - just goes to show you can't always trust an old rubber - gasket, that is.  ;D

So, how long did the '4 hour' trip take?

Let the fun begin!

Robert---Labor day of WHAT year? haha

Kyle--took us about 7.5 hours to get home! We made a quick stop at a convenience store for junk food, and then back on the road--until the blow out! Middle of nowhere! Oh well...

A teardrop is the small triangular window on the side at the front of the upper level on a Scenicruiser.

They have a compound curve & are very expensive if you can find one in glass. Hence they are named after the first thing that happens when you realize you have to replace one.  ;)

Done is relative,  Get r goin by Labor Day!!! :o

Advice from George Meyer I think,

Try to use it as soon as possible,  even if you hang sheets for walls, throw in camp potty, grab the cooler and use it.  else it could become a stagnant project. :)

Congratulations and Welcome to the Madness!!
It's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. ;)

Thanks Kyle4501, now I know. And, understand the anguish.
