Checking A Vin #

Any of you guys have a way of checking a vin # number for me on a vehicle I am looking to buy at a sale I tried the internet services and for 20 bucks they tell you nothing about liens on the car and  I have been burned before on one that showed a clear title  thanks

try www.carproof.com, im a dealer in canada and this service tells us everything, salvage , been hit, liens ect, its works for the american  cars also, hope this helps
