Title: Silver Eagle found in the Galveston, TX mess
Post by: BEN MC7 on October 13, 2008, 10:50:35 AM
While doing insurance inspections in the Crystal Beach, TX area, I came upon a Silver Eagle that it appeared someone had done a conversion on.  The engine was removed before the storm and she had probably seen better days before being subjected to the tidal surge that left it on its side and pushed up against a tree.  The interior looks to be a home conversion poorly done.  The windshields were also missing and the tide had its way with the inside too.  It was kind of funny to find it in all the damage that was in the area.

This was probably the one I saw on CNN. A news helicopter flew over and showed it on it`s side with the water lapping against it.

If it was that red one, I saw it, too and posted about it on the board a couple of weeks ago.

I would say if any of our buses had that kind of abuse they would look as if they might have been poorly done also.  I don't think much would be left if it were to happen to mine.

There was quite a lot for that poor bus to have to go thur.
