If I'm still driving mine in 2050 maybe the kids can use that as an excuse to get me out from behind the wheel.  I will be long overdue to stop driving by then.

Clifford ;I read where MTU renewed their contract to build the two stroke till 2013 they redo that contract every 5 years. No one can build a engine to replace it with Cat,Cummins,Mack and everybody else have taken their best shot and the old girl is still here and will be for a long time. FWIW the 60s had more design changes in 10 years than the 2 stroke had in 60 years   have a Great evening (I am in Phoenix and will call Mon)

I've requested an audio of my old 8V-92 be played at my funeral.  A sound that inspires!

Just think,by 2050 personel vehicles will be flying around probably and airliners could be replaced by buses retro fitted with some sort of vertical take off and landing power plant installed in the belly. This would bring recreational busing to a whole new level, fling to europe at 37,000 ft.And how would you dump the black water tank? well I'll leave that up to your imagination, the possibilities are endless(as well as priceless). ::)

I got a pretty good idea where we'll all be in 2050.... some of us will be in the "Eternal Penthouse", and some of us in the "Basement"....;)
