Does anybody know who to contact and/or what to do.
A friend of mine is looking at an Eagle in the States, registered in California as a motor home. He lives in Mexico and is not a US Citizen. ;)
Any advice is appreciated.
Paul
Paul, you are aware of my bus and its history> All three of my brothers buses go back and forth to his mission in Mexico. The border patrol on our side don't seem to care when you go over. The Federals make you verify and get permit to operate a motorhome in Mexico. If you come back , our guys are very interested in any compartment that will open. I cut the welds on my spare tire rack(4903) and the tire was brand new(1968 date code) on a split rim. Of course not usable, but illustrates that no compartment is not searched. Drugs, illegals or what ever. Last trip took two hours. So, check with Border Patrol on both sides.
If you PM me I'll get you his email. Big john
Paul, he needs the title to show ownership or a release if it has a lien on it that's all there is to it It's a lot harder to buy 1 there and bring it back to the states takes several 20 dollar bills to get to the US customs the smaller ports are easier to deal with I don't know where he lives but Ojinaga Mexico crossing is a snap Good luck
