Title: TURBO
Post by: Eagle on June 16, 2006, 12:00:04 PM
I have an Eagle Model 10 with a 6V92TA in it and by using the engine number Detroit says it has a TV-7511 turbo in it.  Will a TV-7111 or a TV-8111 interchange without any modifications?

The TV-7111 turbo is for a 149 engine. No don't use it. I could find no refreance to the 8111 so I don't know what it fit's.

You can use a 7101 a 7512 a 7513. what injectors do you have in the engine, and what rpm do you turn the engine, that will determine the hot housing you use. You may be able to run a second generation waste gated turbo from a 12.7Ltr 60'S

Hope this helps.
