FYI: I got a fresh brand-new ICD pacemaker yesterday. Hopefully this battery will last longer that 3 years. The old one started running down after 6 defibrillator
shocks. ( not pleasant!!! )
Now to wait to have the other surgery done on reconnecting my colon...
I figure another 3 to 4 months right now.
Dave....
So far, so good eh?
Good to hear the new batteries are in & working.
Good luck with the other stuff.
Maybe, if the next surgery is successfull, you'll be a prefect . . . . . BUSNUT ;D

Thanks for sharing your medical update. Good news is new battery installed. Sorry you have go through the waiting for colon surgery.
You, Cody and Ron the Bus Nut are still in my prayer list everyday.
Keep looking up!

Dave,
My dad had major colon surgery recently, (He's 82 and has a pacemaker) and he is a new man! We have had to encourage him through some down times, and I think an antidepressant has helped, but he's coming along nicely now. He is back to enjoying his weekly outing to hear bluegrass at the senior center, and getting around without a cane or any assistance, when he just didn't want to get out of bed for a while.
Be strong, carry jumper cables if you feel the need!
Hang in there. There is a reason why God doesn't tell us what's in store for us!
