Title: anybody looking for a 24 volt inverter / charger?
Post by: Bob Gil on August 20, 2008, 12:30:06 AM
24 volt Xantrex Inverter/Charger 2500/5200 Watt AC/ DC

E-bay  item # 260276186007

If some one is needing a 24 volt I don't think I could use it myself.  I wish I could find a 12 volt I can aford.

You just scared me then Cliff - that's the identical unit to mine but after reading your comment I wondered if mine wasn't 50Hz. I've just checked though, and it is. Some of the documentation I downloaded for mine refers to it as an 'export model', so the eBay unit is as well presumably. Looking at the price I'd buy the eBay unit as a spare, except it would cost a fortune to have it delivered to the UK

I have one of those too..24 d.c. to 230 volts @50hz.

Got mine a couple of years ago. The shipping weight was 101 lbs.

I did go into it and make a tap for 115 volt on the output transformer.

I was planning to use a step-down transformer to gto from 230 down to 120
at some point. But like everyone else, stuff gets sidelined lately.

I think I paid $500 for it off eBay.
