Ace,
Did you use these LED tail lights?

If so, for each item listed, does it include all lights in the picture, or just a subset?

Brian thanks for asking! What I started out doing was upgrading my H3 rear incandescent lights to LED's. I originally found the red and amber at one place with a pretty decent price and when they couldn't produce a matching all clear back up light, I went searching elsewhere and that's where I found Texmood who could and DID! Although the prices are a little higher at TMOOD, communication, service, and friendliness is worth the difference in price!
Not sure what lights your looking at but what I got was the Bargeman series 84! They come ONE to a package! I did have to cut the wires and splice them to my harness but that was easy!
If I'm not mistaken, the boss at TMood might even be a guest on here because after my order he sent me an email asking me to tell all my buddies on the BB about his company and the service I got from him! Funny thing is I don't ever remember having that conversation with him about the BB so my guess is he might be a guest on here!
Series 84 and boy are they ever bright! I think there are 16 led's per sealed unit!
Hope this helps...
Ace
I've spent some time looking for 24 volt amber front turn signal lights. Preferably surface mount becuase my MC-5 is re-skinned. Has anyone seen them? I looked at Texmood's descriptions and they don't seem to include voltage.
Fred
Fred,
Take a look here and see if this does you any good.

Thanks Ace! I really am trying to put in some lights others behind me can see!!! Mine are old and tired and very "fogged" out. Do you happen to know if the Bargman lights come in 24v at all? I like the series 84 lights, but the link Doug posted has 24v compatible lights. Not having to run through the 12v converter is very enticing for me as the response time is much better on direct 24v versus through my relay converter module.
Brian,
You can also get the 24V lights red or orange in the style like Prevost, MCI (D models), or Setra use from SETRA. I have them on my 45'er and man they DO make a difference! Problem is they are a little pricey @ $84.** each. But much better than MCI wants for them! Also I have heard rumor that Eagle has some simular now too. I can't confirm that, and have no idea on price! FWIW ;D BK ;D
PS if you'd like I can take a picture of them this afternoon and again this evening and post them so you can see how thwey look!
I search through the Bargman's catalog and found nothing about lamp's voltage. So I e-mail them about it.
This is what I received:

RE: Enquiry from TEXMOOD
Wesbar was trailer and AG lights. Bargman was primarily RV Lights. With Cequent owning them both now the lines have blurred a little and seem to be combining.
Although the RV business has started to produce a lot of bus-type of models everything Bargman and Wesbar produces is still 12V's. With LED lights having such a low draw and so much of the lighting being 12V Bargman told me that they don't have any 24V product on the horizon.

Ace....what about your setup? Did you get a conversion adapter from 24v to 12v?
They look great!
Thanks

PS...hope the tropical storm didn't do any damage to your place.
Jerry first off thanks for taking the time to research this!
All my rear and exterior lights are 12v.
So far th e storm is just a little rain and a lot of wind!
Ace
Thanks Ace!!
I am going to find a ready made converter (24v down to 12v) to let others in on it. It can be done using series of diodes, each one is .7 voltage drop. Would take 18 diodes at whatever lamp's load is.

PS...Ace, keep hanging in there.
Doug,
That was perfect. I've not seen a better selection of 24 volt LEDs. I ordered two amber bulbs 1157 type. Hope they fit.
Fred
Glad they worked out for you. Heck I even amazed myself ;D
You all have to stop finding these better parts, I can't be building a third set of lights, I'll never get finished!
Guys, if you care to search the archives on this subject you'll find that Fred Hobe installed my 12 V Bargman tail. stop and turn signal lights and used a resistor in the ground system to reduce the voltage and current across the system. Don't panic! It's a relatively easy install....and Fred is a master.
Not something that you guys can't do...we used MC7 housings and adapted the lights.
If you're too lazy to look up the pics...let me know...I'll be happy to lead you to the solution.
