Post by: larryh on August 11, 2008, 09:07:13 PM
I've been here in Harrisburg OR starting 3rd month now and have been starting bus every two weeks and run a cycle on batteries to keep freshened charge and bus just up and died thought couldn't of ran all that fuel out and checkd fuel abt 80 gal in tank so start checking and fuel pump out no fuel delivery. Picked up fuel pump from DD dealer in Eugene Or and started to install then noticed a bunch of small cracks in pront on drive fork so went back and they had to order had it in next day  so installed fuel pump refilled radiator with antifreeze primed filters and turned over about ten times and started up and now purring like a sleeping dragon. First Pump I've had go bad in last 20 years or so been awhile since I had to change one but s*&T happens glad it was in RV Park and not up in one of my god forsken hot springs I so love to scout out.

Should last the rest of my days

I solved my Onan problems by buying a Powertech.  My next genset will be from Wrico International since I live on the west coast and Dick Wright still makes a generator with all mechanical relay activation.  He also makes electronic ones also.  I just prefer the simplicity of relays that you can get at any NAPA store.  Good Luck, TomC
