Looking for a 6-71 Exhaust manifold ( dual exhaust version) this is a contigency plan as the needed party has one but it has not been located yet.
bus is now in Salt Lake City, enroute Reno
only need the single 3 bank, as only one is damaged
Buy you one from a 3-71 they have about 6 different version one will have the right exhaust outlet or a 6v71 will work if you talking about a inline engine.Smith in Salt Lake will have one
I HAVE A 671 T-DRIVE TELL ME WHAT TO LOOK AT TO SEE IF IT WILL FIT YOUR NEEDS OR EMAIL ME
I don;t have a 04 parts book handy to confirm the part numbers or if the pair are twins or different from each other.
It is an Inline 6-71 not 6v71
thx to JLV for the part number and confirmation they are twins
Doug,
My guess is that you must have the exact P/N because that is really a tight fit with stock mufflers and still pretty tight even with smaller custom mufflers.
Exact part number is 5113368
ok its a 6V71 each manifold is seperate. I am not sure how much its worth but i think you will tell me .
part number was for the dual manafolds for the 6-71 inline ( two 3 cyl manifolds which then go to individual mufflers and tailpipes)
could not tell you if the 6v71 uses the same manifold.
This is the beauty of the 2 stroke engines. You can use any exhaust manifold on your 6-71 from any other 71 (even the 6V-92) would work. 2 3-71 manifolds would work-to be really weird one 4-71 and one 2-71 would also work-but just making a point. A 6V-71 exhaust manifold is just 2 3-71's. Good Luck, TomC
