We've been out in the Eagle for 2 weeks and away from the computer. I did the Hwy 90 route after leaving Leakey TX and spent time at Davis Mtn State park, then Balmorhea. The weather was cool at Ft Davis and hot at Balmorhea, but the pool was great, and we drove to Marfa and saw the mysterious Marfa Lights.
We then spent 2 days at the NFS campground in Cloudcroft. My that was a sweet place, $13 per night and the camp hosts were friends from home. We didn't know they were up there.
We then went through Ruidoso, Carrizozo, and Santa Fe and stayed 2 days at Navajo Lake SP, then one day in Pagosa Springs. We did tubing down the San Juan, got dumped out, and banged up my knee. It still hurts. Then a couple of days at United Campground in Durango. We did the Bar D Chuckwagon which was really good. The Diamond Circle Theatre Melodrama moved out of the Strater Hotel and is under new ownership. It was a big disappointment, not very good.
We then ventured over to Fun Valley at Southfork. Now, that is a great place. Everyone I met there had been there at least a month, some since May. I think that is the best place in Colorado, summer camp for adults. We survived in the coach just fine on 15 amp hookups. My wife is a great power manager. We then drove to Santa Fe and met some church friends at Glorietta Conference Center. 50 amp full hookups for $20, a bargain. Now we are in Pampa TX for a family reunion.
I didn't have any bus problems other than my Sam's golf club battery bank is pretty worn out (6 years old), so our off grid time required more jenny time. I had no radiator problems since I put in the new fan, but my oil temp climbed as high as 250 on Wolf Creek pass. That kind of bothered me a bit. The oil runs 230 to 240 on most of its hard pulls and stays 220 on the flats, drops to 180 on downhill coasting. I'm pulling a Nissan pickup.
Bought fuel in Artesia for $4.89 and filled in Amarillo at Flying J for $4.53. That fillup was $979.!!! Ouch.
Boy, this is a great way to travel. I wish I didn't have to go back to the south Texas heat.

No, $979 was one fuel stop. I think I've driven about 2000 miles.

My total mileage for the trip was 2602 and I used 378.5 gallons of fuel. That includes about 25 hours of genny run time. I drove 60mph most of the way which made my mpg a bit better than the usual 6.2. Throttle pressure does make a difference.
On the way back to Pleasanton we spent the night in a free campground in Winters Tx. Nice place with water and 50 amp hookups. I didn't even have to unhook my towed to slip into the spot.
