These are pics of the engine compartment, I find there is alot of room for working and easy access.
Very nice job and super clean! I am amazed with the attention to detail.
Mine sure doesn't look that good, cause it's got black gooey stuff all over it! ;D I think it was green at one time. ;)

Hi Pato,
Welcome!
Very Nice! It doesn't look like you could get any dirt on you while servicing that engine...
Good Luck
Nick-
I agree, it looks very good.
It would be great if you would give us a few details of your stretch and engine conversion. Since it is a monocoque construction your stretch must have been a challenge
I love the old GMCs and to have a T-drivfe in one would make it all the better.
Maybe the moderators can combine the three threads so that it all fits together

Got any more pix? That's an interesting project for sure!
A T-drive GM? Very cool!

pretty smart looking instal.....shold have redone the firewall while it was all out....could have been nice s=hiney alum in there.
Everyone-see how much room there is when you use a medium sized Diesel like the Cummins ISC pictured. It will put out about the same power as the 8V-71N, but much better fuel mileage. You don't need to go with the giant Detroit Series 60, Cummins ISX or N14 or the Caterpillar C15 to get the bus down the road.. Good job!. Good Luck, TomC
Very nice, I like the attention to detail.
