Title: Got to meet some of the Minnesota Folks
Post by: rv_safetyman on July 20, 2008, 06:35:20 PM
As many of you know, we were in St. Paul for the big FMCA rally.  There were about 2400 coaches which was not bad, considering the fuel costs.  Years ago the numbers were often over 5000.

Paul Lawry wrote a note about meeting some of the bus folks in Minnesota (http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=7822.0).  I thought I would also discuss my visits.

Brian Elfert came down to our Converted Coach Rally and we got to spend a bit of time talking about our projects

Paul Hastings made it to the show.  Unfortunately, things were quite hectic and we did not get much of a chance to chat.  I would have loved to see his slide out project.

I made a quick trip up to Craig and Teri (sp?) Shepard's (continues to spell his name wrong {grin}).  We got to talk about a lot of project details.  Craig is such a talented fabrication person!  I told Craig that I was disappointed that Brian Diehl was out of town.  He called Brian to find out where he was and he was only an hour from his house.

Since they were just getting home, I was able to get to see Brian and Hilary Diehl's project.  He and I had corresponded quite a bit about his engine conversion and it was fun to get to see the end results.  He is making great headway on the conversion.

I know I missed some folks, but things are so hectic when we are in town for a tradeshow.
