Does anyone know of a website I could go to for information about the air conditioner on a 1979 MCI motorbus? I'm not sure of any other info about it, but I can get it...
the best place may be the maintenance manual. I have used mine plenty.

Heather_a,
Well for your first post (welcome aboard) As Grant noted da books (maint.,operating, parts) are very important.
If it is "where in my area can I get my stuff fixed" or open ended questions like "keep or remove the AC" ask away.
You'll get loads of opinions and GOOD advice.
Questions like my AC doesn't work.......How do I figure out what to do next? While usually get well tried
advice.
Hope this helps.

I have no connection and how good they are....anyone on board might tell you.
I do know most all new manuals are copies and very poorly done for $90.00.
Again..someone may point you to the good one.
E-b-a-y is a good one for OEM version.

PS...Welcome to the board!
Welcome!!! Is it the original bus air conditioning, or a rooftop unit? Jim
Welcome, lots of help here with anything on or in bus. Keep in mind when posting, give us lots of information. It's okay if you don't even know what it does... ??? Lord knows I've ask, what is this, what is that, what does this do....?????
We do need more about which air units you need information about. Roof mount, coach air, basement air....
Ask away,
Bill

I have a copy of the Greyhound a/c manual for the mc9. This book will tell you anything you ever wanted to know about the system, and it is written for trainees off the street. It is THE a/c manual for mc9 buses. My cost was $47. for the book. Email if interested.
