Title: Wanted/Needed - Eagle Rivet Caps
Post by: steveggt on July 07, 2008, 11:03:13 PM
Greetings All!

My friend isn't too computer savvy, so I'm doing his online work.  He's looking for (what he calls) 3/16" rivet caps that were used on Model 05-10-15 exterior body panels.  I'm guessing these "caps" were used to cover up repairs that were done with pop-rivets.  We don't have an Eagle parts book, so we don't know the part number.

If anyone has the part number or can provide info from another supplier (vendor name, contact person, phone, email, etc), we'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks everyone!

- Steve

if you want the original looking rivets they are called shaved head rivets the tool  to buy it new to shave them will cost 2 to 3 hundred bucks any rivet supply will have both kinds but if you use the caps make sure to use silicone or the caps will fall out over time.If you use the push in caps buy the style with the seals on the back so there is no water leaks    1-866-go-rivet    have a great day
