I know this is off topic. But..
Does anyone out there have a used or surplus Chlorine Metering pump that they don't need?
I have to use chlorine with my well water and I have one of the Hayward
inline chlorinator but since it was designed for a pool I get surges of
excess chlorine at times.
I don't have much of a budget to buy a new one right now so I figured that with everyone that scrounges and hoardes for bus conversion goodies there might
be one lurking around somewhere.
I could also use a 100 or larger gallon pressure water tank but it would have to be close to Cookeville Tennessee. Lowes thinks they are made of gold....

Hi Dave, if you find either one, let me know, I will try to pick it, (them) up and deliver.

Uh.. Well it would help if I knew where that was. There seems to be a lot of people/companies using that same phone number and they are all in New York..??
I suspect it would be pricey to get any of that stuff either by distance or value...
If you have heard of zero budget.... I don't even qualify or can spell budget...
I am sort of laid up from doing any long distance driving or manual labor due to
the medical mess I am in. Thanks For the heads up anyway.
Dave...
If you just need a chlorinator, (dosing pump) I'll look around for a discarded one that only needs the rubber tubing replaced. If the motor still runs they can be made serviceable for pennies. Most people don't realize how little it takes to rebuild these units. I'll let you know if I have any luck, Will
Thanks All,
I found one on eBay for $26 - Such a deal..
The next research item is changing from Chlorine to Hydrogen Peroxide which is
much better healthwise as far as I have looked so far.
Still looking for that BIG water tank for my well system.... Got to be close
and cheap enough to get. (The well system also serves the parking spots!)
I have a Truck and 18 foot car trailer so hauling isn't a terrible problem unless
the stuff is a long way off. I am still tethered to medical requirements so can't go far from home.
It's really bad when you set up stuff thinking that most of the initial stuff
will get replaced or upgraded later... The problem is "Later" just seems a distant planet sometimes....
Dave....
Glad you found one. ;D ;D Too many people confuse swimming pools with drinking water. They arrested some young adults for skinny dipping up in Portland Or last week in a municipal water reservoir :D. Sorry to say, no pictures were available, ;D ;D
