Title: Air Conditioner drains
Post by: BUR on July 04, 2008, 08:15:23 PM
What have you guys done to keep water from air conditioners from running down over your paint? Going to have the bus painted and don't really want
water steaks . I have a Prevost that I put 1" aluminum angle where the sides meet the top. Was wondering about puting another piece upside down on it
with adhesive and puting drains at each end.

There is a pan inside the unit that collects water before it runs off.  Some tap into that pan and run a hose inside the wall and out the bottom.  That is distilled water and you might want to keep 20 gallons for you rad refill.

The stock drip rail is pretty cheap and attaches with pop rivets.

Good luck,

John
