Dometic has voluntarily expanded it's recent refrigerator recall to include some of the 2 door refrigs manufactured between June 1 2003' and Sept 30 2006' in RV's.
The problem, after some period of use, a fatigue crack may devolop in the boiler tube of the covered refrig. that may release a sufficient amount of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source may be presant. Under certain conditions, the coolant could ignite and result in a fire. This defect relates to Motor Vehicle Safty.

Recall # 08E-032
Hi Nick,
This 'expanded' recall is the same repair as the heat shield/limit switch improvement? Or is this another modification?
Either way, I'm pretty sure my unit was manufactured prior to 2003...?
Maybe 2001 or 2002...I'll have to check that.
Thanks, JR
Hi JR,
Yes, same kit but, for some later model refrig's.
Nick-
Thanks Nick.
