If you're talking about Bonaroo, (sp?)  I kinda doubt many from this board will be going.  ::) ........................................but maybe.

That would be my guess. I would go, but I like Metalica, etc. But most bands I have never heard of.
Lots of tie-dye and paraphernalia if you get my drift.

Yup,  not really my music list either.  Riverbend Festival is still on here in Chattanooga today and tomorrow.

Some of the more notable performers (from my frame of reference) this year:

ZZ Top - everybody knows that one
Little Big Town - country/bluegrass
Josh Turner - country
Rodney Atkins - country
Mercy Me - Christian Contemporary

Also lots of others covering all music genres.

It's a 9 day event down on the riverfront in Chattanooga each year.  Over the years it has drawn some really big names in all genres.  Like other similar events, one $28 admission pin gets one person in for any/all performances all nines days.

A little late for anyone looking to see it this year, but it might be something to keep an eye on for next year.

Man I came thru the Manchester, TN area tonight while Bonaroo was letting out! Talk about Idiots, traffic, cops, Idiots and more cops! Wow! did I mention every other person was an idiot or a cop? I don't think there was a cop left anywhere else in the state tonight!

I'd say you hit the nail on the head! Altho I've never been, my understanding is that when leaving, you are either "under the influence" of something fun or looking for those who are.  ;D ;D

Yup, an event where simply being there is "probable cause" for a sobriety test.
