Dallas and I are hunting for an inexpensive campground in the Hamilton/Overpeck area of OH. The closer to Overpeck the better. We have checked out a couple but they didn't pan out. We need a place that will allow our bus to stay there. This is the ugly bus that Superpickle told me the best thing we can to is to light a match to it and burn it. Since this is our home we can't do that so we need some help in finding a place to stay.
Did you find a place to park your bus???
Just checking in.

Cat, most of us are hunting not only inexpensive campgrounds but inexpensive fuel as well.
Here's a funny for you! Remember about 2 years ago when I have to almost apologize for having a Scion for a toad and tried to justify owning it by saying, "I've got a mechanic who's going to install a mower deck on it to make it more practical?" Well, I don't have to do that anymore.
The truth of the campground situation is that while the "Resort" campgrounds with all their ammenities such as tennis, jogging trails and gas cookers at your doorstep are kidding themselves as to their future the Mom and Pop campgrounds, like the one we're in, are thanking their lucky stars that the stalwarts among us are still moving around the country, (though gently) are still the backbone of the old RV industry and their salvation.
I truly believe that you'll be welcome with your "Clampett Special" most anywhere. ;)

Cat,
I've been trying to reach you guys today. I've found a place for your bus that you park and live in with full hookups and 50amp service, within a mile from my shop.
Please check your messages for the name of the place, they're getting the place ready for ya!
Todd
Thanks Todd, I emailed you. We don't have phone signal here at all although I did for about 5 minutes tonight. Very slow internet signal also. Getting relaxed and squeaky clean.
There you go! Thanks to Todd for fining a place and near his bus conversion shop. Wow!
