Hi bassfid,
Sleep is a wonderful thing as long as it's done in bed......
Glad nobody was killed
Thanks
Nick-
Reminds me of the person that told me they wanted to die like their grandfather, peacefully while asleep, not like there grandmother who was yelling and screaming. She was sitting in the passenger seat. Jack
Jack,
We are on the same page...... ;D
I was typing the same thing while you were....LOL ;D
I love that joke....
Reminds me of my Friend Bill,
He was driving home from Georgia and wanted to stop and get a hotel,
Everyone insisted that they were only 3 hours from home and they would take turns driving
the final leg of there journey.
Well, about an hour later they were all asleep but Bill.
Bill decided to pull a prank on them;
He pulled into the truck stop carefully and saw a truck parked and idling with his lights on,
Bill slowly crept his car towards the front of the truck and just about 10' away, slammed on the brakes and screamed.
They all were wide awake the rest of the way home

When I was just out of high scholl, a friend always enjoyed doing this if he was driving at night and someone else in the car was sleeping. At 60-70 MPH, he would hit the brakes hard and yell "OH S**T, LOOK OUT!". Very few would allow themselves to fall asleep in that car. Jack

I use that joke quite frequently on groups who insist on leaving at ungodly hrs. of the night, except I change it to
all the passengers on the bus behind him!oh and I also tell them that "They told me if I can make this run with no problems they'll let me get my license and hire me permenatly for this driving thing!"
I tell you what for the first hr or so nobody goes to sleep! LOL! ;D BK ;D

Actually this one was in INDIANA! Not far out of IL but it was in INDIANA! FWIW ;D BK ;D
It wasn't a joke to me. I was in the passenger seat in a TR6, no roll bar and no seat belt {19 stupid years old} and when everything stopped we were inverted with the gas cap sheered off and wearing half a tank of gasoline. Lucky doesn't even come close. Nobody drives me anywhere after the sun goes down. I'm here to tell you things can get real bad real fast if you fall asleep on the road. That's why I take my house house and my bedroom with me! Jim
