What technique are you using to fasten down your house style refrigerators. We don't need to have it fall over or become loose in a panic stop etc.

I lag bolted mine down into the floor. It 's going nowhere.Very important to have it secure. Marc
Our house type refrigerator is installed between 2 solid wood walls to prevent forward and rearward movement. 2 aluminum angles are attached to the floor in front of it to prevent it from moving crosswise in the bus and a 2x4 is in place across the rop of it (between the wood walls to prevent tipping. No problems in 40,000 miles. Jack
We did ours pretty much the same way Jack did but we added a microwave above the refrige so we put a fan with a heat sensor in the cabinet to vent it if needed.
ATfloor on rear of fridge is a bar/strap? running side to side. from angle iorn I fabricated 2 hooks, so when fridge is slid into place it slides under hooks. level fridge befor measureing for hooks! In front I take off lower front cover and lag bolt to floor. So far so good!! HTH Jim
My fridge is bolted down, but the steel frame piece in the fridge it is bolted through is so thin I am afraid the bolts would tear through in a crash.
Long sheet-metal angle irons (2') on both sides, screwed into the bottom of the fridge's sides with self piercing truss-style screws, then into the floor with long truss screws
On the back of the fridge at the bottom, I have two angles bolted into the fridge using existing threaded bolts and fastened into the floor with deck screws. Access to these screw is through two removable covers which are actually vents, this allows air to circulate up over the coils and out the top through a vent over the fridge, It is built in.
On top I have two more angles that have padding on the angle against the fridge, the are fastened to the framing around the unit and just pressed tight against the top, they are accessible if the top vent cover is removed..
It doesn't move!

My fridge, which is a full size home unit, just does not move! It's built in and on an angle giving some roundness to the kitchen that goes along with all the other curves I have in the bus! I don't drive fast so I don't stop fast! LOL Even if I did stop abruptly, which I have, it just doesn't move! I have a hard enough time moving it out when I have to since I have some 12v electrical behind it!
