In an effort to put roots down, I've purchase a house in Gulfport area of St. Petersburg. I was the winning bid on the house at a large auction with 175 other properties. Purchase price on this forecloseure was 30K under the appraisal. I was able to trim the trees in the alley, so the bus would fit. Should have seen people looking is disbelieve as this blue 40ft bus, move down the alley very slowly... ??? With the removal of most of my back fence I was able to make the turn into my backyard. From house to back fence is 50ft.... ;D.... Funny, now that I'm a home owner again, I'm now back to living in the bus. The house needs a lot of TLC, and paint, so the bus made sense. Oh! I have a grandfather oak the covers the backyard. The bus is shaded all day long.
Good for you!
Enjoy your new place of your own.

Hi Bill,
Congrats!
I hope you enjoy many years in it!
Sounds like you need to hold a party to get some help with renovations...
Nick-
Way to go Bill,
Now aren't you glad you didn't sell your bus! ;)
Hope all is well with you guys. Have fun with the new project.
Paul
If you had a bigger yard I could come over and help you.
Good news, Bill. Hope the work on the house doesn't take all your time and you'll still be able to join us from time to time. Best wishes.
Bob
Bill,
If you need a break from the house, the SE Cruisers will be having a rally at the Florida Flywheeler's near FT. Meade in November (close enough that you will not need a lot of fuel). I figger ya'll might be ready for a break by then LOL. Jack
Thanks guys, actually if anyone wants a place to stay in the St. Pete area, I can have a RV in the front driveway for 72 hours at a time..... ;D
The next problem I see is getting the bus OUT OF the back yard.
Jack, keep me posted on your weekend events, you just never know where or when I may show up.
Meanwhile, it's Saturday, I have till noon to work on the house, before we four wheel it to the Space Coast.
Bill
