Across from me in Punta Gorda is a bus owned by a man named Bill, I assume he is from Texas. I do not have a lot of info, but bus was converted from new and was used by G Bush Sr. Bill does not know much about bus community, but I am trying to point him in that direction.

jjrbus,
sounds like you are a bus evangelic :)
Is that jack stands under the front of the bus?
Would you happen to know why?
Thanks

nice story about Bush Sr.
unfortuentely there are lots of stories about who has owned this conversion or that.......often handed down through several ownerships. Most are just that, a story.......I went to see a bus a few years ago.....that had such a grand story of it's history.....the average buyer would have been impressed some.
I was unimpressed as I knew the entire ownership history of the unit from the MCI FVR all the way through the 5 previous owners, 4 of which were charter operators I have contacts with, then the conversion. By the time the conversion was done the alleged famous people who "owned" it or used it would have not bee caught dead in it.
Regardless of who owned it. It looks like a shiney -7. Wish I had some of that stainless on mine!

Shiney 5
jack stands probably under the structure that holds the frot bumper.
Poor mans leveling system: Jack stands under and let the air system settle
My bus was owned by a perveyor of finely ground sawdust, oops it still is.lol
Mine is a Saudi model, rumored to have been Bin Ladens personal ride! Check it out on snoops!!!! I do not know why the jack stands are there. Bill is not around to ask, he went to some affair in Marthas Vine Yerd or something like that!!
