I came across this bit of information on Wikipedia today, thought some might be interested!
"The 4107 and 4903 models were notorious for being difficult to shift gears; making loud, grinding noises which tended to upset the passengers"
It does take a certain touch. I'm still trying to master it. At the current price of diesel, it might take a little longer than I thought.
Thats the bad thing about Wiki......all user generated data.....alot of which is incorrect.
The problem with the buffalos 4107, 4108 4903 and 4905 with the spicer was poor adjustment of the clutch....nothing else. It is a bear to do properly but when adjusted correctly they shift just as good as anything else
