Thanks for posting Bill.
It's going to be a good weekend.
We have a number of new comers, dreamerd and wanna bees planning on attending.
Should have some good pictures of the coaches and attendees.
See U there.
Well, two weeks plus are up, the rally was a success! We'll do it again next year! Wade, NC KOA is a great, bus-friendly campground and highly recommended. Our weather was, for the most, as good as it gets! Didn't really matter. Right next to Gene and me was a big, all weather building with cable vision, WiFI, a full kitchen, and heat and AC. And a bathroom. Very nice! We had exclusive access to this building for the duration. The only negative about the whole event was (is) the cost of diesel fuel... >:(.
I took a few general sorts of pix at the rally. Sent them down to Gary LaBombard for a laying on of the hands.
Gary generously spent his time posting the pix that I took at the NC Busnuts Rally. They can be viewed at: http://community.webshots.com/user/converter101?start=168
Those not familiar with Gary's website, you oughta check it out. More pix of buses than anywhere! And step-by-step directions on how to build an Eagle....from ground up! ;)
Gene also has pix of individuals and their buses that he'll get to Gary soon. Sadly, Gene and Francis recently had a death in the family so they'll be out of town for a while.
Many thanks to Gene and Francis Lewis, Darrell and Linda Passer, and Dave and Carol Lang. These guys brought a ton of food, cooked it, and made the whole affair possible! ;D
Best, JR
